Elsword's Elysion Phase 2 Brings An Increased Level Cap, Two New Dungeons, And Changes To Enhancements
KOG Games announced today that Elsword's latest update, Elysion Phase 2, is now live. Players can now make their way to the "celestial heavens" of Elysion and take on two new dungeons and a new fight against the raid boss Eltrion. The update also increases the level cap to 99, allowing players to prepare themselves for the new content with a whole new set of levels.
Additionally, some changes have been made to Enhancements. A new method of enhancement has been added, but the old method can still be used by those who would rather use it. A new item called "El's Hammer" will double the chance of a successful enhancement. Gear can now reach enhancement level +13. As a part of the enhancement level cap increase, the chance of successfully enhancing gear up to enhancement level +7 has been increased significantly.

New content and an increased level cap are never a bad thing, but I imagine that the changes to Enhancements will be controversial. The introduction of new items to increase your chances of successfully enhancing another item are almost always controversial—even more so if said items are obtained from the cash shop. At the very least, the old method of enhancement remains available for the time being.
