Embers Adrift Had One Of The Smoothest Launches In Recent MMO History

Embers Adrift made history this past weekend as one of the few MMORPG launches with no major launch issues to speak of. No queues, crashes, disconnects, or any other problems that players have come to expect when a new MMO title first opens its doors.

That being said, some players did complain about optimization and performance issues even for high-end gaming rigs and problems purchasing the game. Developer Stormhaven Studios has yet to address the said issues but assured the community that they’re continuing to work on the game at the same pace as before it was launched.

“This does NOT mean that development will slow. On the contrary, we plan on continuing our rapid development pace that we have demonstrated for the past few years,” the studio said.

So far, reactions to the game have been positive and the community is singing praises about the lack of launch issues and the game’s old school vibe.
