Stormhaven Studios has added a new zone to explore in Embers Adrift alongside new quality-of-life features, new abilities, and backend tech upgrades in its latest beta patch. The Redshore Forest is now open for players to explore, complete with mobs, resources, and item chests. The new zone is recommended for players Level 26 and above and can be accessed by following a northern road in Meadowlands or the Northwestern Outpost in Dryfoot.

The developers have also introduced new line-of-sight rules and updated NPC aggro behavior, distance, and mechanics.

“With this week's patch the call for help system can now limit the number of alerted NPCs allowing us to expand the range much further without having to alert the entire camp. In addition, we can now set a chance that one of the alerted NPCs becomes immediately hostile towards you - which has been done. This should make pulling a bit more chaotic and challenging.”

Level 20-30 abilities have also been added, including those for the Warden, along with a new skybox and a myriad of bug fixes, tweaks, and improvements. You’ll find a detailed list in the full patch notes on the Embers Adrift official site. You can also check out the latest dev blog below for more info.
