Enad Global 7 Announces Plans To Acquire Mechwarrior Online Developer Piranha Games

The acquisition of Piranha Games will give EG7 control over current MechWarrior games, including MechWarrior Online, and future games in the franchise. According to the announcement, the move is “in line with EG7’s previously communicated strategy to perform complementary acquisitions to establish a stronger industry position.”

EG7’s portfolio includes Dead Island, Battlestar Galactica Online, Rising Storm 2 Vietnam, and Warhammer: Vermintide, among others. The company has also been involved in the publishing, marketing, and distribution of several AAA titles including Call of Duty, DayZ, Destiny, Dying Light 2, Doom, Fortnite, H1Z1, and more.
