At the top of the week, Epic Games announced that they will be donating all Fortnite profits from March 20th to April 3rd to aid humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine. As of today, the studio reports that they’ve already raised over $50 million with more than a week left in the campaign.

That’s as much as some entire countries have donated to humanitarian relief in Ukraine. For context, Australia donated upwards of $50 million in humanitarian aid, Finland donated €10 million ($11 million), while Japan pledged $200 million to the cause. With how things are going, it’s possible that Epic will be able to match Japan’s donation.

That’s just for the PC version. Microsoft is also running the same campaign on the Xbox version of the popular battle royale shooter. The tech giant is also allowing players to donate their Microsoft Reward Points to UNICEF until April 30th and have pledged to match all donations made.

Meanwhile, Fornite kicked off Chapter 3 Season 2 earlier this week featuring another character from the Marvel cinematic universe - Doctor Strange. Check out the new trailer below.
