Following the previous announcement that Warhammer 40000: Eternal Crusade's Founder's Pack sales would end yesterday with Early Access soon to follow, we expected that there would be a bit of downtime between them. Not so. The Warhammer 40K MMOFPS entered Early Access today, just as Games Workshop began a major sale. For the first week, it is $39.99, $10 off of its normal price of $49.99. The price will rise again after Early Access.

Eternal Crusade is expected to be in Early Access at least until this Summer. At present, there are five classes and three vehicles on both sides of the fight. It is currently a competitive multiplayer shooter only, with character progression, guilds and war parties, and territorial conquest coming in at a later date. PvE and the Eldar and Ork races are also planned.

In a surprise move, it was also announced today that Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe would be publishing Eternal Crusade on PC, PS4, and Xbox One when it launches this Summer. Bandai Namco will be handling distribution for Behaviour Entertainment. According to the press release, this partnership means that "customers from almost 100 countries will have access to" the game.
