Everquest Switches To Bi-Annual Campaigns

Everquest's executive producer, Holly "Windstalker" Longdale has announced in a news post today that Everquest will be switching over their update system.  Rather than doing yearly expansions, their plan is to instead release bi-annual "campaigns" which will contain the same amount together as their yearly counterpart.  According to the post, the reason for this is to increase developer agility to be more responsive to changes in their player base as well as simply releasing more often.  Pricing details are still to be determined.

The announcement also stated that they are working on a new progression server with a projected release date of June this year.
