Not to be outdone by its younger brother, EverQuest will be getting two new time-locked progression servers next month. The new servers, Tormax and Teek, will start off with the Ruins of Kunark expansion, with succeeding expansions to be unlocked at set intervals over the next few months.

Tormax will offer a traditional TLP experience while Teek will feature random loot and free-trade rules. Both servers will also feature relaxed True-Box rules, which means that players will initially be forced to play just one character at a time but will be allowed to juggle multiple characters over time.

Both servers are set to open their doors on May 22, with name reservations opening on April 24 for players with over 200 days of playtime.

Meanwhile, the Daybreak Games is hiring engineers, game designers, and artists to lend their expertise towards the long-running MMORPG’s development. You can check out the job openings here.
