World of Warcraft’s October Trading Post Brings Spooky Treats and Jellyfish Mount

As October arrives in World of Warcraft, so does a fresh wave of eerie cosmetics from the Trading Post—and Blizzard isn’t holding back with the Halloween vibes. From scarecrow-themed transmogs to a creepy jellyfish mount, players are in for a treat (and maybe a few tricks) this month.

For those new to WoW's Trading Post, it’s essentially an in-game store where players can exchange Trader’s Tender—a currency earned through monthly Traveler’s Log activities—for rotating cosmetic items. Each month, a new collection of mounts, transmogs, and other goodies arrive for players to scoop up, keeping their collections fresh and fashionable.

October’s lineup leans heavily into the Hallow’s End theme. Feeling witchy? You can grab Granny’s Old Hat for 175 Trader’s Tender, perfect for brewing potions (or scaring your guildmates). Want to get even spookier? The Ragged Harvest Golem transmog ensemble (800 TT) will transform you into a terrifying scarecrow, while the Harvester’s Claw fist weapon completes the look. If you’re after a stylish weapon, the Feathered Bow of the Night and Battle-Tested Obsidian Warhammer are also up for grabs.

Mount collectors, you’re in luck. October brings three new mounts, including the Swift Zhevra (550 TT) and the spooky Hand of Reshkigaal (750 TT). But the real star is the month’s bonus reward—the Depthstalker, a haunting jellyfish mount. Simply fill your Traveler’s Log bar, and the Depthstalker is yours to ride across Azeroth’s skies or seas.

Before you spend all your Trader’s Tender, here’s a pro tip: Blizzard has teased that November’s Trading Post will feature a return of last year’s armor and weapon sets, but without class restrictions. So, you might want to save some of that hard-earned Tender.

You can check out the full October Trading Post collection on the World of Warcraft official site.
