Faction Based Survival Game Rend Launches Into Early Access

The faction based survival game Rend by Frostkeep Studios launched onto Steam early access yesterday on July 31, 2018. Think Conan Exiles or Rust, but more team oriented with faction based PvP. As with most other survival games, Rend is not free to play. It's available on Steam for $29.99.

Since launching on Steam yesterday the game is hitting over 3,000 users during peak hours and is off to a strong start. Reviews are mostly positive as of this writing, but some players are complaining that resource gathering feels slow and repetitive, but fans of survival games shouldn't be too surprised by slow paced resource gathering. The pacing seems to be slower than games like Rust but faster than Wurm Online.
