Faeria Leaves Early Access And Officially Launches

One year of Early Access and "over half a million downloads" later, Faeria officially launched earlier today. You guys remember Faeria, right? The card game/strategy game hybrid in which you have the chance to build the battlefield you fight on as you play? Yeah, that one.

Faeria is launching with new cards and content. The team also notes that more "social and competitive features" are in the works.

Additionally, in an interesting twist, all Gold that players collect is being monitored in a new event called "War Effort." It will all be "added to a grand total" and, once that grand total hits 50,000,000, developer Abrakam will unveil their plans for the next few months of Faeria development and releases.

You can find the full set of patch notes for the launch version here. Should you want to play, it is now available on Steam and the App Store. An Android version should launch shortly. The current iOS version is for Ipads only at the moment. Hearthstone actually launched the same way on mobile; first on tablets only, then on smartphones.
