Grab your party hats and costumes and get ready to run giant obstacle courses in the latest season of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout.

Season 6, dubbed Party Spectacular, is now live in the platformer battle royale, transforming the Blunderdome into a festival-themed arena and bringing 5 new Rounds, 25 new costumes, and a new Fame Path reward track. Mediatonic is also running a LittleBigPlanet crossover event featuring the face of the game himself, Sackboy.

With the start of a new season, the devs are now requiring players to use an Epic Games account to be able to create custom usernames and allow cross-progression between the PC and PS4 versions of the game.

“We are hyped because Season 6 brings us closer to our goal of bringing Fall Guys to as many people as possible, with Epic Game Accounts bringing cross-platform progression and then cross-platform play between PlayStation and PC this season. This will take some testing and learning on our part, as we want to make sure we can deliver the best possible experience to players, no matter which platform they prefer to play on. It's also an important step towards bringing Fall Guys to additional platforms.”

Speaking of other platforms, the team says that they’re still working on bringing the game to Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles and promises to share more information in 2022.
