Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker Writer Will Be Joining The Next Letter from the Producer LIVE

The end of the nearly eight-year long Final Fantasy XIV story arc is nearly upon us as Square Enix gears up for the release of Endwalker this fall. The upcoming expansion’s storyline is the work of Natsuko Ishikawa, the same writer who brought us the critically-acclaimed Shadowbringers narrative.

Fans of Ishikawa’s work will be able to catch her during the next Letter from the Producer LIVE stream where she’ll be answering questions about FFXIV’s story and game writing in general. The stream will be airing on May 15 as part of this year’s FFXIV Digital Fan Festival. Questions can be posted on this thread.

The AMA session will be held during the second half of the stream. The first half will be dedicated to previewing the contents of the second half of the Death Unto Dawn patch, which will set the stage for Endwalker and conclude the Save the Queen arc.

The Letter from the Producer LIVE is scheduled to start at 7pm PDT on May 15. The Fan Festival itself kicks off on May 14. Unlike previous Fan Festivals, this year’s fully-digital event will be held simultaneously in all regions and will be streamed live from the Tokyo Garden Theater.
