Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Information Revealed

In today's Letter from the Producer LIVE, Producer & Director Naoki Yoshida (Yoshi-P) revealed several key aspects of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn's upcoming expansion, Heavensward.  During the live stream, Square-Enix revealed new information the new zone of Ishgard and the Floating Continent, commenting on the massiveness of the zones in comparison to current existing zones.  These new zones will also support flying mounts, and new information references the ability to upgrade your companion Chocobos to enable them to fly.

Also unveiled is that Disciples of War and Magic will learn their new abilities through quests, and the addition of class-specific limit breaks.

For those who enjoy the crafting professions, the level cap will be raised from 50 to 60 and players will be able to specialize in up to three different crafts through quests.  Characters who are specialized will receive bonus abilities for use within crafting.
