Final Fantasy XIV Might Get Blitzball
In an interview recently, Final Fantasy XIV has stated that they have entertained the thought of adding Blitzball to the game. According to game director Naoki "Yoshi-P" Yoshida, conversations were had with Yoshinori Kitase (Director of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy X) over the in-game interest of Blitzball for the popular MMORPG. Kitase apparently had no idea that this was the case and stated that, "That could be cool to consider."

Blitzball is a ball game that is played in a suspended globe of water from Final Fantasy X. In the game, players try to score goals similar to soccer.
I can only hope that this really gets added!
