Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.5 Introduces New Zadnor Battlefield, New MSQs, And More
Patch 5.5 is now live in Final Fantasy XIV, setting the stage for Endwalker with new main scenario quests, new side quests, a new Chronicles of New Era quest, and the fourth installment of the Save the Queen arc featuring a new Bozjan battlefield encounter called Zadnor.
“Like the Bozjan southern front, Zadnor is a new instanced encounter wherein players assist the Bozjan Resistance in their continued effort to reclaim their homeland from the IVth Imperial Legion.”
The patch also adds new indoor and outdoor player housing decorations, a new electric guitar instrument to perform with, new minions, new mounts, new hairstyles, new emotes, and more. Meanwhile, Endwalker is still on track for release this November. The upcoming expansion will mark the beginning of the end of the current storyline that kicked off with A Realm Reborn nearly eight years ago.
