The latest patch information reveals that the Explorer Mode will be updated to include level 70 dungeons once the patch is released. Players will also be able to use Perform actions inside the dungeons which means that they can now hold musical performances in the Temple of the Fist or any other level 70 dungeon of their choosing minus the unruly mobs that inhabit them.

Patch 5.5 will also introduce Count Charlemend of Ishgard’s House Durendaire as a new Custom Deliveries client.

“House Durendaire is considered the foremost of the noble houses of Ishgard, and Count Charlemend stands at its head. Thus, when such a dignitary is seen skulking about the Firmament, it could scarcely go unnoticed. What manner of surreptitious business could have brought the man to the newly rebuilt district? All will be revealed in a tale of unlikely friendship set amidst an era of change.”

Players will also be able to replay the Patch 5.4 MSQ, Eden Quests, the Sorrow of Werlyt, and other quests and raids via New Game+ once Patch 5.5 goes live.

Patch 5.5 Death unto Dawn goes live on April 13. More information can be found on the Final Fantasy XIV official site.
