Final Fantasy XIV Previews New Content Coming In Patch 5.45
The Final Fantasy XIV site has just been update with a rundown of new content that’s coming to the game when Patch 5.45 hits the servers. The patch will be arriving on February 2nd bringing with it a level cap increase to 70 for the Blue Mage along with new Blue Mage-specific spells, quests, and gear.
Players will also be able to participate in a new large-scale battle called Delubrum Reginae where they’ll get to aid the Bozjan Resistance in their fight against the Empire and further enhance their Resistance Weapons in the process.
“Beneath the wastes of Bozja Citadel lie the ruins of Queen Gunnhildr's kingdom. The temple at its heart, once a shining beacon of hope for Bozja, now remains forever shrouded in darkness. And it is there the Warrior of Light must lay the queen's legacy to rest.”
In addition to the aforementioned content, crafters will also gain access to the final process to upgrade their Skysteel tools.
