Final Fantasy XIV Rolls Out New Pandaemonium: Asphodelos Raid And New Quests

Final Fantasy XIV has added a brand new raid called Pandaemonium: Asphodelos along with a series of new Chronicles of a New Era quests in the latest game update – Patch 6.01.

Pandaemonium: Asphodelos is a new 8-player raid that’s open to players level 90 and above with a gear score of at least 565. To enter the dungeon, players must first complete the newly-added Chronicles of a New Era quest “The Crystal from Beyond” which will become available upon completing the main scenario quest “Endwalker.”

Instead of loot, the new raid will reward players with tokens that they can exchange for any of the items included in the Asphodelos Unsung gear set. The set includes items for head, body, hands, legs, feet, and accessories. Players can only earn one token per Asphodelos circle per week for a total of four tokens each week. Players, however, can enter the new raid as many times as they want throughout the week.

Patch 6.01 is the first major update released since the Endwalker expansion launched earlier this month. Aside from a new raid and new quests, the update also includes a whole host of fixes for quest errors, NPC issues, the in-game UI, and more. The Easy and Very Easy difficulties of the “In from the Cold” main scenario quest has also been adjusted to make it easier to complete the battle instance.

Character renaming has also been enabled regardless of whether a server is congested or not, although the name generator will not be available in times of congestion.
