Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers Will Take Players To The First World
Square Enix has just dropped juicy information about the upcoming Shadowbringers expansion at this year’s Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival in Tokyo, Japan. The expansion will take players on a journey to The First World and the city of Norvrandt, the only city to survive the Flood of Light.
FFXIV Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida also outlines the new features that will roll out when the expansion hits the servers including the new Dancer job.
“Dancer joins gunbreaker as one of the new jobs in Shadowbringers. This ranged attacker not only unleashes powerful attacks using throwing weapons, but also performs dances to execute abilities and provide beneficial effects to their party.”
The expansion will also introduce a second new playable race called the Hrothgar. Both the Hrothgar, and the previously announced Viera will have unique and customizable race-specific features. Two new player cities will also be added, along with a new endgame raid called Eden, a new Beast Tribe and Primal, and a new Field Area called Lakeland.
