If there’s one thing you can count on, its Naoki Yoshida talking up Final Fantasy XIV in some form or another. Whether it’s through a letter to the community, a forum post, or a livestream, the Executive Producer is always ready to share news about the popular fantasy MMORPG.

In the latest Radio Mog Station livestream, Yoshida revealed several Endwalker behind-the-scenes information, including the fact that they’ve already decided on the narrative for the upcoming patches up to Patch 7.0

He also dropped other bits of trivia about the game and some of its major characters. The scene where Estinien jumped out of the window in Old Sharlayan was apparently the costliest scene they had to make, Emet-selch’s storyline had always been planned even before he became popular in Shadowbringers, and that Krile isn’t in the Endwalker key art because the art team forgot to include her.

As for what’s coming to the game in the near future, the Executive Producer promises to reveal more information sometime next month. In the meantime, you can check out a translated synopsis of the livestream here. Spoiler warning for those who haven’t played through Endwalker.
