Since it’s early access launch on the Epic Games Store in 2019, first-person battle royale shooter The Cycle has been running a public alpha of sorts but it looks like developer Yager Developments is finally ready to move on to the next phase of development.

Closed Beta is scheduled to start on September 30th where players can expect to see the new Crescent Falls map, new enemies, and more loot variety, as well as improvements to crafting, weapon modding, player housing, and more. The playtest is expected to run throughout the whole month of October and will be ending on November 1st.

The current free-to-play version, however, will be taken offline on October 13th in preparation for official launch with the in-game cash shop closing on October 6th. Access to the upcoming Closed Beta test can be requested via Steam. The game itself is set to come out sometime in the third quarter of this year.
