Fractured Veil Adds Farming System, Ziplines, New Recipes, And Sewer Dungeon Loot

Farming is undoubtedly one of the more useful skills to have if civilization were to be wiped out by a cataclysmic event. While most post-apocalyptic survival games usually featured a farming mechanic of some sort, it’s been conspicuously missing from Fractured Veil, considering that it’s set in the lush and extremely fertile tropical islands of Hawaii.

That’s now changed with the addition of the game’s first iteration of a farming system which not only offers a break from mutant extermination but also allows you to grow your own food and harvest materials from 20 types of plants. You’ll have access to basic farming tools like a shovel, watering can, and a composter, as well as new resource nodes where you can gather soil, sand, and volcanic ash for use in your personal garden.

Seeds can be harvested from the plants themselves or purchased from an existing NPC vendor that now sells farming-related items.

Aside from the farming system, the game’s latest update also brought with it new crafting recipes, brought back sewer dungeon loot, and added ziplines in various points across the island. You can check out the full patch notes on the Fractured Veil Steam page for more info.
