GALAHAD 3093 - 12 vs 12 Sci-fi Mech Tactical Hero Shooter Goes Free to Play

GALAHAD 3093, the 12 vs 12 sci-fi mech hero shooter game by Simutronics Corp, went free to play today after havcing launched into paid early access on September 1st. Unfortunately going free to play hasn't moved the game's numbers much as it peaked at just 32 concurrent players today.

Those who purchased the game prior to the 24th will get a Trailblazer's Pack (valued at over $30) which includes premium currency, blueprint unlocks, and various cosmetics.

While the gaming landscape is littered with mostly dead MMOs with tiny playerbases, at least an MMORPG can be played largely solo. A game like GALAHAD 3093 requires a sizeable playerbase to even experience the game. With just 32 players online, there are only a handful of lobbies up at any given time and matchmaking is non-existent with such a small playerbase.

Still, the game is new so there's still hope, but given the competitive landscape I'm not too hopeful on this one. After all, anyone looking for a mech hero shooter can play Gundam Evolution.
