Game Developer Little Orbit Acquires GamersFirst.com and APB Reloaded

Little Orbit announced today that they acquired GamersFirst.com and APB Reloaded along with it. While GamersFirst is billed as a global games portal with 30+ million registered users, it's a shell of what it once was. It used to be a thriving game portal that published numerous successful games like Warframe, Mu Online, War Rock and other titles. GamersFirst today though is best known for APB Reloaded and to a smaller degree Fallen Earth.

Little Orbit purchased GamersFirst with the intent of doubling down and focusing on APB Reloaded. They pledged an "aggressive update plan" which includes better and more consistent communication and a new content roadmap. Handling the game's cheater issue is also on top of their agenda.

Little Orbit is the company behind Unsung Story and Descent: Underground.
