Genshin Impact Sails To A New Area And Launches On The Epic Games Store On June 9
Genshin Impact players will be going on a Midsummer Island Adventure when the next game update comes out on June 9. Version 1.6 will allow players to venture out into the open sea on the Waverider Boat and set sail for the Dodoland to answer the Dodo King’s challenge.
Various challenges await players on the mysterious archipelago, including a boss fight against the dual-elementalist Maguu Kenki. Successfully completing the challenges in the new area will reward players with currency that they can use to refine the new Dodoco Tales catalyst weapon.
The V1.6 update will also introduce a new hero into the game – the Anemo-wielding swordsman, Kazuha. Kazuha can use his elemental abilities to buff his teammates and control the battlefield. He makes his debut alongside an Archon Quest where he will be dropping clues about his hometown, the region of Inazuma.
Players can also expect new summertime outfits which can be purchased using conch shells collected from Dodoland or using premium currency in the cash shop.
