Genshin Impact Previews Version 3.8 And A New Nation Opening Later This Year
Hoyoverse offers an in-depth look at what’s in store for Genshin Impact players when Version 3.8 goes live next week in the studio’s latest Special Program episode. Version 3.8: Secret Summer Paradise arrives on July 5th and will open up a new summer-themed area called the Veluriyam Mirage.
Veluriyam Mirage will remain open for a limited time and will offer an array of fun summer activities such as a water gun shooting gallery, aerial races, and a board game. Participating in these activities will reward players with various in-game goodies and the chance to unlock the Cryo character Layla for free.
Version 3.8 will also bring back several character banners including those for Eula, Klee, Sangonomiya Kokomi, and Wanderer. Eula and Klee will also be getting several new outfits with the return of their respective banners.
On the subject of characters, the update will also introduce three new Genius Invokation character cards and a new PvE mode that will pit players against an endless horde of enemies.
