Aside from thwarting the plans of a secretive knightly order and politicking with nobles, Elder Scrolls Online players will also get to engage a whole host of other activities during their time on the Systres Isles. ZeniMax Online Studios offers a preview of these activities in their latest dev blog.

“Upon reaching the shores of distant High Isle, you’ll quickly discover that this new zone has so much to offer eager adventurers. There is no shortage of beauty and dangers for you to discover within the Systres Archipelago.”

One of the key features up the upcoming High Isle chapter is a new World Event that will task players with closing randomly-appearing volcanic fissures by defeating the fiery monsters that come out of them. The Glemyos Wildhorn world boss also awaits players in the overgrown woodlands of Fauna Falls in the northern part of the island.

Players can also travel to High Isles neighboring island of Amenos where they’ll face off against the its murderous residents in the Whalefall Delve. Those who make it to the easternmost side of the prison island can also plunder Ghost Haven Bay for long-lost pirate treasure. To get to it, you’ll have to face off against deadly spirits trapped within the remnants of a pirate fleet.

After all your exhausting adventures on the islands, you can take a break on the southwest coast of High Isle where you can go sightseeing and watch majestic ornaugs leaping out of the water.

You can experience these activities and more when High Isle comes out on June 6th on PC/Mac and on June 21st on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
