Get Cool Outfits, Furnishings, Emotes, And More In Phantasy Online 2 Through Scratch Tickets

Most MMOs hide their cosmetic items behind lootboxes, or lockboxes for some. Phantasy Star Online 2 hides them behind Scratch Tickets. You know, just to be different. Xbox One users got their first batch of scratch tickets with the MMORPGs Xbox One open beta launch yesterday. Here’s how they work:

“On a bi-weekly basis, new Scratch Ticket collections will be available for operatives to draw from. This ensures that Arks are kept in the latest style that is popular among residents in Fleet Oracle. Be sure to check the SCRATCH TICKET TERMINAL (or the Scratch Tickets section of the official website) often to see the prizes of the latest collections. You can even try on some of the prizes from the list!”

Scratch Tickets can be purchased using three different types of currency: Arks Cash (AC), Star Gems (SG), and FUN Points. Arks Cash can be purchased using real-world money and Star Gems can be earned through various in-game activities or purchased using AC. Scratch Tickets purchased using AC may contain clothing, accessories, and enhancement items, while those purchased using SG only reward clothing and accessories.

FUN Points, on the other hand, can easily be earned by logging-in daily, by exchanging EX-Cubes, reviving other players, by sending or receiving a Kudos, or by using AC. Scratch Tickets bought using FUN Points are limited to non-clothing items such as house furnishings, emotes, and consumables.
