2016 is a big year for Dungeons and Dragons Online as it celebrates its 10th anniversary in February. Yes, that’s right. Players have been playing DDO for a decade now. As part of the game’s anniversary celebration, the devs will be throwing a huge party with gifts, prizes, events, and a few surprises thrown into the mix. The icing on the cake will be the debut of a free multi-level dungeon that showcases the game’s history featuring iconic characters and NPC’s from the game. The new dungeon also gives players the opportunity to test out their skills against the devs in battle, and as Severlin, the game’s executive producer wrote, “Yes, I plan to kill you in-game.”

Update 30 also comes with the release of the long-awaited Gnome race and the Deep Gnome Iconic. Aside from the debut of the pint-sized race, the update will also implement an updated Cannith Crafting system along with a few bug-fixes based on user feedback.
