Waypoint Unlock Boxes Now Available On The Guild Wars 2 Cash Shop
ArenaNet has just made exploring Central Tyria a whole lot easier with Waypoint Unlock Boxes which are now available in the Guild Wars 2 in-game cash shop.
“You know the drill. You’re trying to reach East Nowhere to stop a rampaging whatever from eating Fill-in-the-Blank Village, but you’re new in town. Good news*—we’ll instantly register you at all the waypoints in a region of your choice. Buy the Waypoint Unlock Box to unlock one of the regions on our list, or buy the Central Tyria Waypoint Unlock Package for all of them.”
Region-unlock boxes cost 600 gems while the complete package will set you back 2000 gems, which amounts to roughly $25. Of course, you can also convert your Gold to Gems so you won’t have to shell out real cash. Either way, the Waypoint Unlock Boxes will allow you to get things done that much faster.
Unfortunately, the Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire locations aren’t part of the package so you’ll have to explore those the old-fashioned way which is what the devs did in the latest Let’s Play Guild Wars 2 episode.
