Guild Wars 2's 'Daybreak' Update is Now Live
Earlier, we covered that Guild Wars 2's Living World would be returning with Season 4, and Episode 1 would be known as "Daybreak." Well, it's here! Not only do we have Living World Season 4, we also have a new Fractal to experience - Twilight Oasis - and a new Raid - The Hall of Chains.
You can read the full release notes here, but lets quickly pour over some of the more briefer bugfixes of this patch.
- A new Legendary Focus - Ars Goetia
- General World Polish
- Elon Riverlands - New conversation line to Jimoh to indicate she can escort up to 10 defectors
- Fixed a bug that caused a Deadhouse Prisoner to
not want to leaveremain hidden in his cell - The Desolation - Added a fix so the second finisher used on each of the Maws of Torment portals will show the player's chosen finisher instead of the Realm Portal Spike Finisher.
- Molten Effigies are no longer immune to burning
- Setting Preset will no longer affect DPI Scaling
- Jackal Reconnaissance achievement will no longer stall under certain conditions
- Launcher size now reflects DPI scaling
- Exotic-tier Funerary weapons and armor can now be salvaged and used
