Guild Wars Starts Halloween Celebrations With The Return Of The Shadow Of The Mad King Event

Guild Wars 2 is kicking off Halloween festivities ahead of the pack with the return of The Shadow of the Mad King event. The event kicks off next week with spooky games, puzzles, races, and the Ascent to Madness dungeon where players can challenge the Mad King Thorn himself.

“Tyria’s spookiest festival returns from October 13 to November 3! Once a year, anyone can pass through haunted doors into the Mad Realm, and its dreadful inhabitants pay us a visit. It’s all in good fun, though…except for the Labyrinthine Horror. That one gives us nightmares.”

Players can also collect Pieces of Candy Corn and complete seasonal achievements to earn Halloween-themed rewards including Demon-Haunted weapons and the new Lunatic Court Cape.
