Guildwars 2 Stronghold PVP Public Beta Announced

Although the release date for Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns has not yet been announced, players will be able to sink their teeth into the expansion's featured "Stronghold PvP Game Mode" which will be live for 24 hours starting on April 14th.  In Stronghold, gamers will be able to hire NPCs to lead the charge into enemy lines-- with the final goal of defeating the opposing lord.

All you have to do to get into the beta is go to the Heart of Mists, through the main portal at Lion's Arch or use the PVP panel.

If you don't have Guild Wars 2 yet, you're in luck.   The game will also be 75% off from 10:00am Pacific Time on Friday, April 10th through 11:59pm on April 13th so even new players can join in on the fun.  For more information check out the official Stronghold announcement here, and you can take advantage of the 75% off sale here.
