MMOCCG Harry Potter: Magic Awakened Officially Launches On Mobile Devices
It’s time to make your way to Platform 9¾ and board the Hogwarts Express with the official launch of Harry Potter: Magic Awakened earlier this week. The MMOCCG is now available on Android and iOS devices, giving players the opportunity to re-immerse themselves in the magical wizarding world following previous failed attempts to bring the franchise to mobile devices.
Set a decade after the events of the books, the game presents a vibrant and cartoony version of Hogwarts, where players can interact with each other, much like typical MMOs. Players will be able to participate in various social activities inside and outside Hogwarts, including dancing, dueling, and attending virtual classes together.
Harry Potter: Magic Awakened isn’t just a Hogwarts simulator though, as it’s first and foremost a collectible card game. As players run around Hogwarts and its surrounding areas, they’ll be able to collect spell cards that they can then use to battle each other in strategic card fights.
To celebrate the launch, the developers are offering up to 30 free Ruby Keys to players who complete Yearbook stories before July 4th. These keys can be exchanged for various in-game rewards to help you get off to a running start.
