A new patch went live today for Blizzard's casual friendly MOBA Heroes of the Storm. The most notable change was the addition of the previously announced Diablo 2 inspired Necromancer. Xul is sure to please Blizzard veterans who grew up playing Diablo 2. He can raise skeletal soldiers from fallen corpses, recreating the skeletal army many fans remember from Diablo 2. Other familiar themes include a bone wall that binds enemies, a bone shield that provides Xul protection, and a poison nova ultimate.

Other major changes include several quality of life improvements including noticeable cooldown timers over ability icons. Players will also be able to transmit their skill cooldown timers to their allies via pings by ALT left-clicking abilities. Ditto for Health/Mana bars.

Another major change is the addition of four more observer slots to custom game lobbies. That brings the total observer slot count to six for custom matches. For more details on the full patch notes, players can check out the official Battle.Net patch announcement.
