Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1 "Into the Yawning Chasm" Launches March 27

HoYoverse announced today that the next big update for their epic space adventure Honkai: Star Rail is set to launch on March 27th. Version 2.1 "Into the Yawning Chasm" takes players deeper into Penacony and introduce them to several new characters.

New Content in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1:

• Additional story content with big events unfolding within the Clock Studios Theme Park and the Dewlight Pavilion of Penacony.
• New characters: Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher.
• 1 Year Anniversary celebration since launch: Players can take part in events to earn up to 20 Star Rail Special Passes, 1,600 Stellar Jades, and other goodies.

Two new characters are set to join the fray, each bringing their own flair to the adventure. Acheron, the mysterious Galaxy Ranger, enters the scene with her swift swordsmanship and the ability to accumulate Slashed Dream charges for devastating attacks. Meanwhile, Aventurine, a high-stakes player from the IPC Strategic Investment Department, introduces a unique gameplay mechanic with his stackable shield and Blind Bet charges, adding a new layer of strategy to combat encounters.

Gallagher, the Penaconian drinksmith and security officer, will also make his debut, offering both combat support with his unique debuffing abilities and a dash of mystery with his hidden secrets.

The Vignettes in a Cup event offers a lighter side of adventure, where Trailblazers can mix drinks for Dreamscapes monsters, revealing their stories and crafting special concoctions.

With the one-year anniversary, Honkai: Star Rail is set to celebrate both in-game and in the real world. The Cosmodyssey event allows players to embark on a virtual cosmic journey, while the Immersive Interactive Exhibition and offline celebrations in cities worldwide will bring the community together to mark this milestone.
