Horizon Zero Dawn’s Aloy Is Coming To Genshin Impact For A Limited-Time In Version 2.1

Now that the long-awaited Inazuma region is now live in Genshin Impact, developer miHoYo is now looking towards the release of Version 2.1 which will feature a collaboration with Guerilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn.

As part of the event, legendary hunter Aloy, the protagonist in Horizon Zero Dawn, will be joining the Genshin Impact roster as a five-star character for free for a limited time. Players, however, must have reached at least Adventure Rank 20 to receive the free character.

“An Outcast, Seeker, and proven huntress from the Nora Tribe who saves life on Earth in Horizon Zero Dawn, Aloy will not hesitate to fight for a cause during her adventures in the world of Teyvat. In addition to her extraordinary archery abilities, she also acquired a Cryo Vision in this world and can wield unique elemental power in combat and exploration. In Version 2.1, Aloy will be featured as a new five-star character ‘Savior From Another World’ who joins the Traveler in unraveling the secrets of Teyvat.”

PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players will get first dibs on Aloy when Version 2.1 comes out. Everyone else will have to wait until Version 2.2 to grab the free character. To claim Aloy, simply login during Version 2.1 and 2.2 and check your in-game mail.
