Hyper Universe Closed Beta Begins June 23

The English closed beta for Hyper Universe Online is set to begin on June 23rd and will run until June 30th. 27 characters and the Delta Station map will be available. The English localization of the game includes:

  • English voice actors
  • Mandatory AI Matches have been removed
  • Free rotation of 6 heroes
  • North America / EU servers
  • Party level restrictions removed

Having played the Korean version i'm looking forward to playing Hyper Universe with lower ping here in the U.S. For those that never played it, Hyper Universe is a side scrolling MOBA. So think League of Legends or Dota, but side scrolling with action combat. It's actually quite a bit more fun than it sounds. Open beta should for Hyper Universe hopefully won't be too far behind the end of closed beta, but we'll have to wait and see.
