Hyper Universe Launching Into Open Beta on January 17th
Nexon's 4v4 action MOBA Hyper Universe is launching into open beta on January 17th, 2018 with a total of 41 unique Hypers (heroes). Once open beta begins the game will be available for free both on Steam and on Nexon's own launcher. As of now the game's playerbase on Steam is quite low, largely due to its pricing model. The game costs money in early access but will be free to play once January 17th rolls around. I don't think anyone is too eager to spend money to play a MOBA when the biggest games in the genre are free to play (think League of Legends, Dota 2, Heroes of the Storm, and Smite).
