Indie Sandbox MMORPG Past Fate Will Be Launching Another Kickstarter Campaign This Week
After failing to reach their $15,000 Kickstarter funding goals last year, Icy North Games is launching another Kickstarter campaign to help fund the development of their medieval sandbox MMORPG, Past Fate.
“Past Fate is an open world MMORPG where the players freedom is the key element. You can explore the huge world and its continents and islands. Sail the treacherous seas to explore the world and recruit your own crew to assist you in naval combat. Hire and train mercenaries and soldiers to help your kingdom in the time of war. Find secrets, treasures and mysteries to aid you in your journey. Practice to become the crusader and smite down your enemies or find how to wield more darker powers to hunt your prey during the night. What is your fate?”
The developers held an open alpha test earlier this year and is currently running another one to help raise awareness about the game. This should help them gain more traction for their second campaign, but there’s always a chance that they might fail again.
The Kickstarter campaign will be kicking off on July 23rd and will be running alongside the current alpha test which features three playable classes, a few quests, new world bosses, an early version of crafting and gathering, and a level 15 cap.
