Infinite Crisis's Creative Director Talks MOBA Creation

From the recent PAX East event, Lorehound was able to interview the creative director of Infinite Crisis, Cardell Kerr, for an interview about Turbine's MOBA game. He talked mostly about the decisions behind the various mechanics and gameplay elements within Infinite Crisis. However, the main emphasis was on approachability.

“My entire goalpost for us on the design side is a significantly more approachable game. It’s something that any MOBA player and even non-MOBA players can watch and see what’s happening, but it still has all the depth of one of those games.”
