Intrepid Studios Finally Kicks Off Ashes Of Creation Alpha One Test
After multiple delays, Ashes of Creation has finally kicked off its Alpha One test. The playtest was initially scheduled for April this year but was later moved to June, and then to July so as not to compete with other major MMO launches at that that time, specifically World of Warcraft’s Burning Crusade Classic and The Elder Scrolls Online’s Blackwood Chapter.
Alpha One will run until August 13 and will take place in just a small portion of the fantasy MMORPG’s massive open world. The team’s goal is to stress test the servers and gather feedback on various gameplay systems such as nodes, gathering, looting, caravans, the party system, and more.
The Alpha One test is open to all players who purchased the Adventure the highest-tier Adventurer Pre-Order pack. If you’d like to participate, you can buy the pack for $500 on the official site. On the plus side, the test isn’t covered by an NDA so there probably won’t be any shortage of information from streamers and backers.
