5v5 arena brawler Kingshunt has been taken offline indefinitely just two months after the game entered early access on November 4th. According to developer Vaki Games, it’s decided to temporarily shut down the live servers to allow its small team of developers to add more depth to the game in the form of new heroes and game modes.

“After careful consideration and deliberation, we have made a difficult decision to pull Kingshunt out from Steam,” announced the indie studio. “We have learned a lot in the first Open Beta stage of Kinghunt, but as a small indie dev team, we do not have the bandwidth to both make new content and changes, while also running the live game.”

There’s no timeline as to when the servers will be going back online so all we can do for now is twiddle our thumbs and wait.
