Latest Albion Online Video Shows Off Factions And Missions

Those of you eagerly awaiting Albion Online's closed beta phase will be happy to learn that the team at Sandbox Interactive have put out a new video showing off factions and missions. There are currently two factions, the Royals and the Undead. Players will be able to gain favor with them by completing missions.

Missions, unlike quests, are designed to "play into the open world." Each faction can only pay so many players to complete tasks. As such, players will be essentially fighting with other players for those quests. It's an interesting idea and it will be nice to see how it works out in a live setting.
