League of Legends Removing Level 30 Cap, Merging IP with Blue Essence, & More

Big changes are coming to League of Legends! Riot Games announced today that they will be removing the game's level 30 cap, merging the IP currency with blue essence, and implementing rune refunds. There's a lot to digest here and anyone who plays League should check out the "Riot Pls" video that explains these changes:

My favorite change is the one being made to leveling. The level 30 cap is gone and players can continue gaining experience and leveling their account by playing. Instead of gaining IP after each game players are rewarded with an unlocked loot chest, called a capsule, every time they level up. (Overwatch anyone?) Players who reach certain level milestones also get rewarded with gemstones or "hella rare emotes".
