Green Man Gaming and Rigid-Soft announced today that Lifeless will be headed into Early Access on June 16th. Lifeless is...yet another zombie survival game. The title has been in development for quite some time and an early Alpha was originally released in late 2014 before sales were closed off again sometime later.

The new Early Access version, published by Green Man Gaming's Green Man Loaded publishing label, will contain the following features.

  • Welcome to Stillwater Bay. Maine’s most popular tourist spot has become a wasteland. Explore lush natural landscapes and deserted towns set after the world has collapsed.
  • Learn To Survive. Find supplies, collect equipment, keep yourself fed and healthy to stay alive.
  • Choose A Side. Two factions fight for survival – The civilian Nova Guard, or the militant Spartan Phalanx.
  • Fight For Your Life. Brutal, melee-focused combat means you have to get up close and personal if you want to save ammo.
  • An Infected Threat. It’s not just the other faction you need to watch out for. Infected humans will stop at nothing to take you down.

Lifeless is available for purchase through Green Man Gaming and the Humble Store for $19.99, temporarily discounted to $17.99. The Humble Store version claims to be DRM-free, albeit it will likely also include a Steam key. The game will be available for purchase on Steam when Early Access launches on June 16th.
