It's been an odd road for Line of Sight. First, it was a Combat Arms game. Then, Nexon dropped it and it became an independent effort by developer Blackspot Entertainment that was released on Steam Early Access as a cheap buy-to-play title. Then, not enough people were playing so they released a free version of the game through Gamengame's official website, but the Steam version remained buy-to-play.

Today, the game finally officially launched on Steam as a free-to-play title. At long last, Steam users can play Line of Sight completely free of charge. Combat Arms-like gameplay and various powers of some sort await.

The official launch announcement states the following about the launch version of the game.

We know Line of Sight wasn't perfect and we worked really hard to listen to the community to improve the game. Without our supporters help, it would've been very difficult, if not, impossible to release the game.

We are still far from perfect right now either, but if you take a look what we did in the past, you can probably believe that we will continue to improve the game with the same dedication. But to improve faster pace, we ask you to continue to support us. Your kind supports and encouragements mean a lot to us, more so than the profits.

Line of Sight is now available on Steam as a free-to-play game.
