Lineage 2: Revolution Has Made $1.3 Billion - Mostly From Korea, Only 3% Comes from North America

Lineage 2: Revolution, the mobile MMORPG based on the Lineage franchise, earned over $1.3 billion in global spending since its Dec 2016 launch according to mobile analytics firm Sensor Tower.

Remarkably, despite heavy advertising, the game only earned a bit under 3% of its global revenues from the U.S. (about $30 million). 57% came from South Korea and 26% came from Japan. Unlike Fate/Grand Order's revenue split, Android accounted for the bulk of sales at 64% with iOS making up the remainder. Despite the game's lackluster results in the West, it remains one of the most popular games in South Korea.
