Full Patch Notes Released For Today’s Lord Of The Rings Online Mordor Update

The Lord of the Rings Online: Mordor, a.k.a. Update 21, rolls out later today. And, for the first time since the game launched in 2007, the heroes of Middle-Earth will finally be able to journey beyond the Black Gate and into the treacherous volcanic lands of Mordor. Standing Stone games has just released the full patch notes for the update to help adventurers prepare for the voyage through Sauron’s lands.

“Witness the fate of the One Ring and Sauron! The Epic quest line reaches a major milestone, and remains free to all players. We begin a new story in Update 21 that will continue in future updates. Travel beyond the Black Gate, seek treasure and conquest, and discover what happens when the Free People enter a land of evil and corruption.”

Update 21 will feature the new High Elf race, five new zones including the great forges of Udun, new instances, a new allegiance system, a new Light of Eärendil/Shadow feature, new audio journals, additional crafting tiers, and three additional class trait points. The update will also include new deeds, quests, items, and monsters.
